태멘자연의학의 본질

본질(本質)이란 사물이나 현상을 성립시키는 가장 근본적인 성질이나 모습을 말한다. “육체의 생명은 피에 있음이라”(레 17:11), “모든 생물은 그 피가 생명과 일체라”(레 17:14), “그러나 고기를 그 생명 되는 피째 먹지 말 것이니라”(창 9:4). 모든 육체와 모든 생물은 피가 생명이다. 살아 있는 모든 생명체는 피 없이는 존재할 수 없다. 성경은 피의 책이며, 피는 곧 생명의 책이다. 그러므로 피를 떠나 성경을 읽으면 생명이 없는 것이다. 밀림의 왕 사자도, 큰 몸집과 긴 코를 가진 코끼리도, 사람의 몸에 기생하는 작은 진드기도, 하늘을 나는 참새도, 햇빛이 닿지 않는 깊은 바다의 생물도 피 없이는 존재할 수 없다. 하늘과 땅과 바다에 존재하는 모든 생명체는 저마다의 형태로 피를 가지고 있다. 사람처럼 붉은색이 아닐 수는 있으나, 그 생명을 유지하는 체액과 순환 체계는 존재한다. 왜냐하면 피가 곧 생명이기 때문이다. 하나님께서는 사람에게 복을 주시며 “생육하고 번성하여 땅에 충만하라”(창 1:28)고 말씀하셨다. 생육과 번성과 충만은 피 없이는 불가능하다. 그래서 우리는 자녀와 후손을 혈족, 혈육, 피붙이라고 부른다. 남성은 평생 약 1조 개의 정자를 생산한다. 정자 역시 생명체이다. 고환은 정자를 생산하고 보관하기 위하여 정교한 온도 조절 시스템을 갖추고 있다. 추우면 몸 가까이 올라와 열 손실을 줄이고, 더우면 아래로 늘어져 온도를 낮춘다. 정자의 생산과 보관, 적정 온도의 유지, 그리고 생식 활동에 필요한 모든 과정은 피의 공급과 순환을 통하여 이루어진다. 남근의 발기 또한 피의 공급 없이는 불가능하다. 우리가 매일 섭취하는 음식의 소화와 흡수, 영양소의 운반, 산소의 공급, 수분의 전달, 운동을 통하여 발생한 에너지와 열의 전달 역시 모두 피를 통하여 이루어진다. 뿐만 아니라 세포가 사용하고 남긴 노폐물을 수거하고 배출하는 것도 피의 역할이다. 인체는 약 60조에서 100조 개의 세포로 이루어져 있다. 세포들은 서로 유기적인 관계를 맺으며 살아가고, 매일 약 3,300억 개의 세포가 죽고 새롭게 창조된다. 예수께서는 말씀하셨다. 세포의 종류와 기능은 서로 다르지만, 모든 세포는 피를 통하여 영양과 산소를 공급받고 노폐물을 처리한다. 이 모든 생명의 순환과 창조, 유지와 성장, 회복과 죽음의 과정은 피 없이는 불가능하다. 그러므로 완전한 건강은 완전한 혈액 순환에 의존한다고 할 수 있다.
Essence refers to the most fundamental nature or characteristic that establishes a thing or phenomenon. “The life of the flesh is in the blood” (Leviticus 17:11), “For the life of every creature is its blood” (Leviticus 17:14), and “But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood” (Genesis 9:4). The blood is the life of all flesh and all living creatures. No living creature can exist without blood. The Bible is a book of blood, and therefore a book of life. To read the Bible apart from blood is to read it apart from life. The lion, king of the jungle; the elephant with its massive body and long trunk; the tiny tick that clings to the human body; the sparrow that flies in the sky; and even the creatures living in the deep sea where sunlight never reaches—all cannot exist without blood. Every living creature in heaven, on earth, and in the sea possesses blood in its own form. It may not be red like human blood, but it possesses a life-sustaining fluid and circulatory system. This is because blood is life. God blessed mankind and said, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth” (Genesis 1:28). Fruitfulness, multiplication, and fullness are impossible without blood. This is why we refer to children and descendants as our bloodline, flesh and blood, and kin. A man produces approximately one trillion sperm cells during his lifetime. Sperm cells are also living organisms. The testes are equipped with a sophisticated temperature-regulating system for the production and storage of sperm. When cold, they draw closer to the body to reduce heat loss; when warm, they hang lower to decrease temperature. The production, storage, temperature regulation, and reproductive functions of sperm all depend upon the supply and circulation of blood. Even penile erection is impossible without adequate blood flow. The digestion and absorption of food, the transportation of nutrients, the supply of oxygen, the distribution of water, and the transfer of energy and heat generated through physical activity are all carried out through the blood. Furthermore, blood is responsible for collecting and removing the waste products produced by cells. The human body consists of approximately 60 to 100 trillion cells. These cells live in an interconnected relationship, and about 330 billion cells die and are newly created every day. Although the types and functions of cells vary, all cells receive nutrients and oxygen through the blood and dispose of waste through the blood. All of these processes—circulation, creation, maintenance, growth, recovery, and even death—are impossible without blood. Therefore, perfect health depends upon perfect blood circulation. Jesus said:
“인자의 살을 먹지 아니하고 인자의 피를 마시지 아니하면 너희 속에 생명이 없느니라”(요 6:53). 주님은 자신의 살을 참된 양식으로, 자신의 피를 참된 음료로 말씀하셨다. 이는 단순히 육체적인 피를 의미하는 것이 아니라, 하나님의 사랑을 의미한다. 그 사랑을 받아들일 때 사람은 참된 생명을 얻게 된다. 또한 예수께서는 “사람이 물과 성령으로 나지 아니하면 하나님 나라에 들어갈 수 없느니라”(요 3:5)고 말씀하셨다. 그러나 니고데모는 그 의미를 이해하지 못하였다. 그러자 주님은 광야의 놋뱀 사건과 십자가를 말씀하셨다. 거듭 남의 중심에는 십자가가 있으며, 십자가의 중심에는 피가 있다. 사도 요한은 “증거하는 이는 성령과 물과 피라 또한 이 셋이 합하여 하나이니라”(요일 5:8)고 기록하였다. 예수께서 십자가에서 창에 찔리셨을 때 물과 피가 흘러나왔다. 물과 피와 성령은 모두 예수 그리스도를 증거한다. 범죄한 아담에게 피의 옷을 입히신 이후로 수많은 희생 제물이 피를 흘렸고, 마침내 예수 그리스도께서 십자가에서 피를 흘리신 이유도 피가 생명이기 때문이다. 죄로 죽은 인간을 살리기 위해서는 죄 없는 존재가 죄를 대신 담당하고 생명의 피를 흘려야 했다. 이것이 구속(救贖)이며 대속(代贖)이다. 피 없는 구속과 대속은 생명을 줄 수 없다. “그 안에 생명이 있었으니 이 생명은 사람들의 빛이라”(요 1:4). 하나님은 사랑이시다(요일 4:8). 하나님의 사랑은 생명이며, 그 생명은 빛이다. 사랑은 하나님의 본질이며, 의와 빛과 생명은 그 본질이 나타난 현상이다. 반대로 죄는 죽음과 질병의 근본 원인이다. 질병과 죽음은 어두움의 현상이며, 그 본질은 죄이다. 그러므로 피가 생명이며 빛이라면, 피가 흐르는 곳에는 질병과 죽음의 어두움이 머물 수 없다. 빛과 어두움이 공존할 수 없듯이 생명은 죽음을 이기고 사랑은 죄를 이긴다. 사랑(피)은 의와 빛과 생명이다. 사랑은 하나님의 본질이다. 질병과 죽음은 어두움이다. 그것의 본질은 죄이다. 그러므로 피가 생명, 즉 빛이라면 피가 가는 곳에는 질병, 즉 어두움이 사라지는 것이다. 빛과 어두움은 공존할 수 없다. 현대 의학은 일반적으로 서양의학, 동양의학, 대체의학으로 분류된다. 그러나 피(血)를 건강과 치유의 절대적 본질로 적용하는 의학 체계는 없다. 태멘 자연의학은 유일하게 피를 절대적 본질(本質)로 삼는다. 그러므로 태멘 자연의학의 본질은 “모든 육체와 모든 생물은 피가 생명이다.”
“Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you” (John 6:53). The Lord spoke of His flesh as the true food and His blood as the true drink. This does not merely refer to physical blood, but to the love of God. When a person receives that love, he receives true life. Jesus also said, “Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God” (John 3:5). However, Nicodemus did not understand the meaning of these words. Therefore, the Lord pointed him to the bronze serpent in the wilderness and ultimately to the cross. At the center of the new birth is the cross, and at the center of the cross is the blood. The Apostle John wrote, “There are three that testify: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three are in agreement” (1 John 5:8). When Jesus was pierced with a spear on the cross, blood and water flowed out. The water, the blood, and the Spirit all testify concerning Jesus Christ. From the time God clothed fallen Adam with garments involving the shedding of blood, countless sacrificial offerings shed their blood. Finally, Jesus Christ shed His blood on the cross because blood is life. In order to give life to humanity, which had died because of sin, a sinless One had to bear sin on behalf of sinners and shed the blood of life. This is redemption and substitutionary atonement. Without blood, there can be no redemption or atonement, and no life can be given. “In Him was life, and that life was the light of men” (John 1:4). God is love (1 John 4:8). The love of God is life, and that life is light. Love is the essence of God, while righteousness, light, and life are the manifestations of that essence. In contrast, sin is the root cause of death and disease. Disease and death are manifestations of darkness, and their essence is sin. Therefore, if blood is life and life is light, then wherever blood flows, the darkness of disease and death cannot remain. Just as light and darkness cannot coexist, life overcomes death and love overcomes sin. Love (blood) is righteousness, light, and life. Love is the essence of God. Disease and death are darkness, and their essence is sin. Therefore, if blood is life—that is, light—then wherever blood reaches, disease, which is darkness, is driven away. Light and darkness cannot coexist. Modern medicine is generally classified into Western medicine, Eastern medicine, and alternative medicine. However, there is no medical system that applies blood as the absolute essence of health and healing. Taemen Natural Medicine uniquely regards blood as the absolute essence. Therefore, the essence of Taemen Natural Medicine is: “The blood is the life of all flesh and all living creatures.”
